As you are aware, the World Health Organization (WHO) recently upgraded Covid-19 to a pandemic.  Many of the people we support are medically vulnerable or immunocompromised which requires an increased level of diligence.

The following precautions are taken by our Associates to reduce the risk of transmission:

  • regular hand washing with soap and warm water for 30 seconds, being mindful of fingertips, between fingers and backs of hands.
  • reducing contact with face and other key areas of transmission
  • using personal protective equipment when necessary and in close contact with another person
  • refraining from taking any shifts if they are exhibiting any Covid-19 symptoms

We work collaboratively with agencies and families to reduce the risk of transmission and practice social distancing as much as possible.
